Responsibilities
- Create and regularly schedule social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
- Map out a blog and social media editorial calendar around seasonal foods and ingredients.
- Help with writing weekly blog posts, editing and promoting through social media and e-newsletters.
- Grow engagement, reach, and impact on social media channels through proactive campaigns and community management.
- Manage email lists and create monthly e-newsletters.
- Update website and/or coordinate changes with website developer.
- Work with PR team to coordinate cookbook launch events and press.
Requirements
- Proven track record in social media.
- A major interest in cooking and current trends in the industry.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Experience blogging
- 2-3 years of experience managing social media platforms for communities or brands.
- Proficiency with HootSuite, MailChimp, WordPress, and Photoshop or Illustrator
- BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations

Such responsibilities include monitoring, execution, and maintenance of truth's owned properties, web video production, social analytic analysis, and copywriting for online and project management of a highly awarded and evolving national youth brand.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must a bachelor's degree with 4-5 years of experience in advertising, communications, marketing, new media or public relations. The individual should have a strong understanding of the social media universe including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, blogs, etc. Excellent communication and computer skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects; the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal staff and outside partners/vendors. Advertising agency experience is a plus.
