There are many jobs available out there for people knowledgeable about Social Media, but sometimes finding the job isn't easy.

Ballet Beautiful is hiring a Social Media Associate in New York, N.Y.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced social media associate to assist with content creation, release coordination, and building followers for multiple high traffic accounts across various platforms. Part-time to start with potential to expand to full time.

Requirements:

• Strong sense of collaboration, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are musts. 
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency will be given preference.

Encyclopaedia Britannica is hiring a Trade Show & Social Media Marketing Specialist in Chicago

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of Britannica’s trade show and event participation, including developing and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date trade show schedule; identifying and executing on creative strategies for driving booth traffic and effective strategies for lead generation; shipping materials and equipment to and from show site; processing and distributing trade show leads to appropriate sales reps; and alerting marketing and sales staff to opportunities for conference speaking, coordinating participation, and submitting company descriptions for conference programs.
• Directly plan, manage and expand Britannica’s social media presence to increase engagement among customers, prospects, and thought leaders in its institutional markets, including scheduling and posting to relevant social media channels and company blog.
• Assist Executive Director, Institutional Marketing with maintenance of info.eb.com marketing website and shop.eb.com e-commerce site 
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Education, or related field
• 1+ years trade show/event scheduling, planning, coordination, and budget management experience required
• 1+ years experience in scheduling, coordinating, and producing content for social media channels and blogs required
• Familiarity with BaseCamp, Hootsuite, WordPress or other CMS, Salesforce.com, Pardot or other marketing automation systems, and Go-to-Meeting or other meeting/webinar management software
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities, including an annual schedule of 100+ trade shows
• Strong communication and budget management skills

Bloomberg is hiring a Social Media Editor in New York, N.Y.

Responsibilities:

• Drive performance/reach of Bloomberg content through social media promotion
• Create the rubric and standard by which we use social media insights to drive action
• Work with management to set ongoing organizational social media structure and best practices
• Train Bloomberg journalists on social media best practices

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an editor or social media editor, preferably in a digital editorial environment
• Strong editorial judgment
