Tuesday Tips: Use More Visuals

We've talked about using visuals in the past (images, etc.) to draw people in and to get them to share it, but something we didn't talk about is how to use it on your website.

Images can be used and placed on your website then shared via social media sites, such as Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook accompanied by a link to encourage more people to visit your site.

Cynthia Sanchez, Founder of Oh So Pinteresting comments on it on Constant Contacts' blog:
“Visuals are easier to relate to than text so include images in your content that can be pinned to Pinterest and shared across other networks.”
The younger generations are a visual generation. They share any image they like and if they like an image about a story, they click on it to go to the story to read more about it. Using good images/creating good infographics and/or memes is a great way to drive traffic not only to your social media but to your website as well.

Remember the adage: A picture is worth a thousand words.

Tuesday Tips are a series of tips released on Tuesday each week regarding a hint or tip to help you manage and market your Facebook presence better.  You can find all the Tuesday Tips by clicking on the Tuesday Tips tag below.
