Artisan Talent is seeking a Social Media Associate Director in Las Vegas

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with a team or autonomously, always collaborating, across a wide range of client categories.
  • Supervises and manages designated staff workloads within their teams while maintaining and building team camaraderie.
  • Manages multiple projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience of authoring and implementing content and strategic social plans
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports / teams
  • Excellent writing skills, able to quickly write editorial and technical  content
  • Highly analytical, with an understanding of digital metrics to measure program impacts.

Worldventures is hiring a Social Media Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies and plans that facilitate and are integrated with the company's strategic goals.
  • Work closely with all departments to develop timely posts and content that is relevant to and supports the company's strategy and goals.
  • Identify, create, write, prepare/format, post and manage relevant and interesting editorial content in multiple channels including blogs, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and other social media sites as needed to grow company pages.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries and comments on established channels in real time as necessary in conjunction with Client Services.
  • Listen to and monitor all social media outlets: pages, sites, blogs on a daily basis and post/respond on particular topics or in response to other posts/comments to facilitate conversations.
  • Set, track and report on insights and meaningful metrics (KPIs) each week to evaluate success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in Journalism, Communications, English or related discipline
  • Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc.
  • Understanding of popular social networks - design, functionality, users
  • Proficiency in social listening tools
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Must be adaptable to a fast-paced and changing department
  • Resourceful with the ability to foresee and react to company needs
  • Personable, ability to work well with a variety of different personality types and skill sets

UMBC is hiring a Coordinator for Commuter Engagement

Responsibilities:
The Coordinator will support the priorities of the Division of Student Affairs and Off-Campus Student Services by contributing to the growth and development of commuting students. The incumbent helps students engage in self-directed learning, connect with campus resources, and participate in educational programs and support services. Specific duties include: supervising and developing student staff; coordinating off-campus students’ leadership and involvement programs; using social media and other print and web technology to market to college students; managing a programming budget; serving as an event manager for large scale campus events; and performing other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
Requires a Master’s degree and one year experience in a related functional area. Must have knowledge of college student development principles. Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational and time management skills required. Must be proficient in collaborating with and motivating college students to engage them in campus life. Must be technologically proficient and able to effectively use social media and other web and print marketing mediums. Must have the ability to interact effectively with broad campus constituents and community partners. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products, various desktop publishing, and database packages required.
