Thursday Tutorial: How to Find the Activity Log

If you've used the post scheduler on Facebook to schedule future posts, you know that it tells you you can view and edit your pending posts in the Activity Log.  You can, naturally, click on the Activity Log in that sentence to get to it, but you can also access the Activity Log in another way.

The Activity Log shows every action that has happened on the page by administrators - whether it be posts, comments or shares.  The log is broken down by months.  There is also a secondary section to the log that is broken down into a bunch of other sections where you can see when the About section was changed, videos added, spammers marked and more.

To access the Activity Log, go to the page you own that you want to view the log for.  Then click on "Edit Page".  That will open a drop down menu as seen below, where "Use Activity Log" is located.

Once you click on that, the following page will show up:

This page shows all the posts you've made and the type of post it is for each month.  On the left hand side are the categories I mentioned previously which can show you all the other information you might need to find.

So if you need to find other things and you remember roughly the month they were posted in, you can track it down by clicking on the appropriate link then searching through the posts.

The Activity Log is very useful, especially if you aren't sure if you posted something in the past, or if you want to repost something you posted previously.

Check it out and see how it helps you.
